FAQ
Q: Does the Sunny Smart Bridge work on 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
A: No. The bridge only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Q: What if I only see a 5 GHz network at home?
A: Most modern routers (often marketed as Wi-Fi 6) broadcast both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz—frequently under a single SSID. Even if your phone shows one network, 2.4 GHz is usually available for IoT devices. If pairing still fails, log into your router and enable the 2.4 GHz band or ask your ISP to split SSIDs (e.g., Home-2G / Home-5G). Note: Wi-Fi 6E adds a separate 6 GHz band; it’s different from Wi-Fi 6.
Q: How do I put the bridge in pairing mode?
A: Press and hold the bridge’s setting button for about 2s until the LED flashes purple.
Q: I cannot find the network “connector-xxxxxx.” What should I do?
A: Ensure pairing mode is active (purple flashing LED), move closer, and refresh your Wi-Fi list.
Q: Can I group blinds and set schedules?
A: Yes. Use the Connector app to group blinds and schedule automatic open/close times.
Q: Does it work with Google Home?
A: Yes. After linking the Connector account in Google Home, use voice commands to open, close, or adjust blinds.
