Sheer and solid bands, in two layers
The two fabric layers move past each other. Adjust their alignment to change the light and privacy without raising the whole shade.
Bring the sheer sections together to admit more daylight and maintain a view through the fabric.
Move the solid bands across the sheer openings to reduce direct views and adjust glare. Fabric density affects the result.
Lift the shade when you want a clearer window and more light. We demonstrate the selected control system at installation.

Light and privacy
Light-filtering fabric softens daylight. It does not create blackout darkness.
Compare room-darkening zebra blindsAdjust the bands to balance daylight, glare and daytime privacy. The view through the shade changes with the fabric, alignment and light outside.
With room lights on, shapes or silhouettes may remain visible through lighter fabrics. Discuss room-darkening or blackout treatments if nighttime privacy or sleep is the priority.

Light-filtering fabric diffuses direct sunlight and reduces glare while keeping the room bright. The solid bands give more coverage than the sheer sections, but light-filtering zebra blinds are not designed to create blackout darkness.
Overlapping the solid bands increases coverage, but with indoor lights on, shapes or silhouettes may still be visible through lighter fabrics. For stronger nighttime coverage, compare room-darkening zebra fabrics or a blackout treatment.

Small clearances are normal because the fabric and operating hardware must fit inside the opening. An outside mount can overlap the trim and may provide broader coverage. We review both options against your window and room.
Yes. Fabric colour, density and the position of the bands affect brightness and the view through the shade. Compare physical samples in your room to see how they respond to its light.
No-Drill is a separate mounting option for suitable recessed windows and compatible hardware. We check the opening, surfaces, finished size and controls before confirming it for your project.
